Plot Summary
The film begins with Rocky (Zayed Khan), a hot-tempered and unruly young man who lives in Mumbai with his parents. He often gets into fights with people who do wrong to others. One day, he beats up a man who works for a criminal named Anthony (Rajat Bedi) and warns him not to cross paths with him again. Rocky then meets Neha (Isha Sharvani), a college student who is impressed by his bravery and falls in love with him. Rocky also reciprocates her feelings and they start dating.

However, their happiness is short-lived as Anthony finds out about Rockys involvement in the fight and decides to take revenge on him. He confronts Rocky and Neha at a park and shoots Neha in front of Rocky. He then mocks Rocky for being helpless and leaves him to die. Rocky survives the attack but is devastated by Nehas death. He becomes depressed and withdrawn from his family and friends. His parents decide to move to London to start a new life and take Rocky with them.
In London, Rocky tries to forget his past and live a normal life. His father lies to him that Anthony has been sentenced to death by the court for his crimes. Rocky believes him and tries to move on. He befriends Priya (Minissha Lamba), a tour guide who works for his fathers friend. Priya develops feelings for Rocky but he does not reciprocate them as he still loves Neha.
One day, Rockys friend Vikram (Ashwin Kaushal) visits him from Mumbai and tells him the truth about Anthony. He reveals that Anthony has escaped from the trial by killing both the eyewitnesses and is still at large. He also tells him that Nehas soul is restless and wants justice for her murder. Rocky is shocked and angry by this revelation and decides to go back to Mumbai to take revenge on Anthony.
He arrives in Mumbai with his parents and confronts Anthony at the same spot where he had killed Neha. A fierce fight ensues between them, in which Rocky overpowers Anthony and is about to kill him. However, he stops when he sees Nehas spirit, who tells him not to stoop to Anthonys level and let go of his hatred. She also tells him that she will always love him and asks him to move on with his life. Rocky listens to her and spares Anthonys life. He then hugs Nehas spirit and bids her farewell.
Critical Reception
Rocky: The Rebel received mostly negative reviews from critics who criticized the film for its poor script, direction, acting, music and action sequences. Some of the reviews are as follows:
